Dew  Spa and Wellness details

We refer you to our home page on our website.

Electronic communications

All communications whether via this website or any other electronic means of communication with Dew Spa are legally binding and should thus be treated as legal channels of communication.

Payment and booking confirmation

  • • Clients are kindly requested and expected to pay 50% deposit to secure booking. The remaining balance is expected to be paid immediately after treatments are done.
    • » The above 50% is forfeited if you decide to cancel the booking without prior written correspondence to Dew Spa at least 48 hours before treatment date.
  • • We accept the following modes of payment :
    • » Cash | Visa/Mastercard | EFT
  • • Clients are advised to pay and clear when doing EFTs.
  • • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • • Please book in advance to avoid disappointment especially during busy periods.
  • • Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received and the client will get booking confirmation either via WhatsApp or email.

Cancellations

  • • No cancellations will be accepted, unless due to unexpected circumstances.
  • • Cancellations should be in writing via our WhatsApp number 072 425 4716 or our email address info@dewspa.co.za within the timeframe indicated under Payment and booking confirmation
  • • Cancelling a booking made months in advance will attract a 30% deduction on your 50% booking deposit.
  • • Dew Spa reserves the right not to book clients previously flagged as difficult. 

Changing treatments

  • • Changing to less treatments upon arrival  will still attract full price of treatments  booked prior to the new changes.
  • • Changing to more treatments is very much welcome if and only if we will not be infringing with other client’s appointments.

Vouchers

  • • Dew Spa vouchers are created upon request (they will soon be available to purchase online).
  • • Dew Spa vouchers are not transferable and are non-refundable.
  • • Valid for 3 months starting from date of purchase and must be brought with on the day of appointment
  • • Vouchers cannot be bought off a promotion.
  • • Vouchers not redeemed within the stipulated time frame are automatically forfeited.

Medical conditions

Please inform Dew Spa booking team of any medical conditions or any nail problems they should be aware of before booking as some treatments may not be suitable for:

  • • People with critical medical conditions.
  • • People with allergies.
  • • People with nail disorders might need to consult with a clinician instead of a nail technician.
  • • Pregnant women.
  • • Shave your legs at least 24 hours before a pedicure lest you are infected with bacteria which might enter through the microscopic wounds caused by shaving.

Tipping policy

  • • A client is expected but not obliged to tip a therapist at least 10% of the cost of the client’s treatment.
  • • The above is solely dependent on the generosity of the client and when they are satisfied with the treatments.

Etiquette      

  • • Avoid eating a heavy meal for those treatments that might require you to lie on your stomach and avoid showing up on an empty tummy as hunger pangs will rob you of your relaxation and enjoyment.
  • • Cellphone(s) must be on silent or off unless an emergency is to be attended to.
  • • Music is provided by the spa.
  • • Violent behaviour or jokes with sexual connotations are not tolerated at all.
  • • Privacy of other clients before, during and after treatments is to be respected and always upheld.
  • • Keep noise to a minimum.
  • • No drinking or smoking is allowed inside the Inospace building.
  • • Soliciting personal cell phone numbers of therapists or clients for home calls is strictly prohibited and is condemned in strongest terms.
  • • Please use the rest room or bathroom before treatments commences to ensure a smooth flow of treatments.
  • • Don’t be left stark naked for those treatments that might require taking your clothes off.
  • • Tip our therapist in cash if you so wish according to our tipping policy.

Arrival and parking

  • • Clients are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early if possible.
  • • Clients must alert Dew Spa Booking Team when in the parking lot to open for them as treatments are by appointment.
  • • Clients may park along Voortrekker Road or along 9th Avenue adjacent to Inospace building.
  • • Clients are advised not leave any of their valuable belongings lying around in the car.
  • • Parking on Inospace Building is at own risk.

Others

  • • For couples massages and other related treatments, we provide gowns.
  • • Dew Spa reserves the right not to repair nail damages when the client is at fault.
  • • We don’t fill lashes done by other service providers unless lash fans and glue are similar.
  • • Personal information obtained from the client(s) is not in any way or under any circumstances passed on to any third party.
  • • Dew Spa reserves the right to take photos during or after treatments for official use.
  • • Photos taken during treatment sessions automatically become Dew Spa property and are from time to time used for advertising or marketing purposes.
